American Strength Training strength exercises have been developed by Trainer Frank DiMeo and the program helps to ensure that you are not easy prey.
Frank developed these strength exercises after many years of experience where he himself underwent training in various practices. And the driving factor that ultimately helped to define strength exercises, started when Frank was only 10 years old. One could go as far as saying - that almost all of Frank DiMeo’s life experience has contributed to the development of these strength exercises.
At 10 years old, being jumped on by knife bearing kids and not having a resource like “strength exercises” to call on, almost cost Frank his life. It was then all those years ago, that Frank found the unbending passion to learn how to be equipped to have “Strength for the Streets”.
Frank’s dream has helped him to not only get to the place where he has developed strength exercises, he has also built up the American Strength Training Institute where he can now share of and impart his experience and knowledge of strength exercises to others.
The approach to teaching strength exercises is not boring, for as we have discussed above, predictability leads to complacency. Strength exercise are taught through a marvellous program that embraces a series of multifaceted “modular exercises developed by some of the world’s top trainers and combined into a single remarkable strength and conditioning system”

Frank DiMeo is qualified to share his knowledge of strength exercises and self-defense because he is a former U.S. Army Paratrooper, a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified USAW Club Coach (Olympic Weightlifting). He knows what works and advocates strength exercises, and with to his experiences as a Level-1 Crossfit Training Instructor plus having completed Level-1 Instructor training with Kettlebell Concepts, Frank is in a position to be able to confidently share about his belief for strength exercises.
